Skull find
NZPA London Dinosaurs made front page headlines in Britain for the second time in two weeks when “The Times” revealed the discovery of an almost complete skull which scientists say may give clues on how the creatures evolved.
The discovery was made last year and the skull has been under examination at the University Museum in Oxford for a year.
Dinosaurs made news two weeks ago when London’s Natural History Museum reported on July 19 the discovery of a skeleton of a previously unknown species with claws 30cm long that is believed to have lived 125 million years ago.
