Cricket coverage
PA Wellington Television New Zealand will continue to adopt a “wait and see” approach on live coverage of the remaining two cricket tests between New Zealand and England, TVNZ’s head of sport, Mr Keith McEwen, has said.
The network would try to negotiate satellite coverage depending on the state of play, he said. Although it was difficult to arrange cover at short notice, it was a better pro-
position than booking satellite links weeks in advance and having to pay cancellation fees if the match was rained out.
