Kidnap coverage
Sir,—ln reply to Mrs Lesley K. Barrett (July 13), I feel that it was only because of the extensive news media coverage and appeals for public assistance that arrests were made so quickly. I can think of no honour which is great enough to bestow on this brave .young girl except the knowledge of the honour she has brought to her family and race and the fact that she is a shining light in a world that is not completely dark after all. — Yours, etc.,
(Mrs) E. JOHNSON. July 13, 1983.
