Surf rescue gear stolen

A C.B. radio and other rescue equipment was stolen from the South Brighton Surf Life-Saving Club rooms this week.

A spokesman for the club said that a window had been forced open. The equipment stolen was a vital part of the club’s rescue service, and its loss could put somebody’s life at risk, he said.
