New cards launched
The Save the Children Fund launched its 1983 range of Christmas cards, tea towels and gifts in Christchurch yesterday. The president of the fund’s north Canterbury branch, Mrs Daphne Blackgrove (left),
i and the Mayoress of Christ1 church, Lady Hay, are pic- ’ • tured with some of the ' items. The range includes 16 ' new designs, some of them , depicting New Zealand , scenes and birds, for posting
overseas. The cards, ranging in price from 10c to 22c each, will be available from S.C.F. outlets next week or through mail order. Half of the sale price will go to the fund.
