Situations Vacant Situations Vacant ANDERSON'S FOODLAND PTY LTD Rabaul — Papua New Guinea requires a BUTCHER/FREEZER MANAGER The successful applicant will be employed in our Lae Supermarket and will be responsible for Retail/Wholesale fresh and frozen meats, frozen foods, fruits and vegetables ordering, importing, warehousing, butchering and merchandising. His responsibilities will include the control and management of a work room and retail outlet employing 25 people. He must be an experienced retail butcher preferably with suitable qualifications, and possess proven managerial and merchandising abilities with an engaging and appealing personality at customer level. Experience in importing foods and handling foodstuffs,other than meats, is desirable, but not essential. A reasonable standard of education would be important. A remuneration of around K 26.000 (5NZ46,000) p.a. including a performance bonus and retirement benefits will be paid together with the usual fringe benefits such as a motor vehicle, long service leave, four weeks annual leave with return air fares for self and family to New Zealand. In addition a rent-free furnished house is available, and medical expenses and school fees, together with certain other expenses, are paid by the company.
