The Belfast Pony Club had a day to remember at its cross country teams’ day last weekend at the Groynes. Springston won the team event, with 31 points, from Oxford, which scored 39 points followed by Belfast No. 2 with 67 points, and Amberley on 127 finished fourth.

However, in the Unity events, involving handling of the ponies and general performance, Belfast took three of the top four places. Its No. 1 team scored 35.33 points, No. 3 team and Springston finished second equal on 34, while its No. 4 team was fourth with 33.75 points.
