Australian share prices again fell across the board in light trading, despite a further rise on Wall Street overnight, which pushed the Dow Jones industrial average 9.92 points higher to an all-time closing high of 1237.18.
The Australian all-ordin-aries index was down 6.1 points, or 1.0 per cent, at 594.5, bringing the loss to 10.4 points over the past two days.
