Japan sets beef quota
NZPA Tokyo The Japanese Ministry of Agriculture has decided to set a beef import quota for the April-September period this year of 72,000 tonnes, or 2000 tonnes more than the same period a year ago, Ministry sources say. Japan would inform such big beef exporters as Australia and the United States of the decision, they said.
