Civil defence exercise

ing the council’s monthly civil defence practice. The patient, Miss Susan Swaifson, a St John Ambulance* Association volunteer, is suffering from a simulated stomach impalement injury.
The practice was held in the basement to give the civil defence members experience in night rescue. Mem-, bers of the St John Ambulance Association also took part in the exercise.
