Green Cup to Coringa
Coringa won the G.W.A. Green Cup for the junior interclub golf competition which finished yesterday with the final round at Coringa. The east zone trophy went to Avondale, and Templeton won the cup for the west zone. Results:— Kaiapoi 5%, Harewood Blue %; Coringa 5, Windsor 1; North Canterbury 4%, Waitikiri P/z; Christchurch 5, McLeans Island 1; Central Canterbury 5, Harewood Red 1; Waimairi Beach 4%, Russley 1%; Avondale 6, Templeton 0. Final points:—Coringa 11%, Avondale, Christchurch 9%, Kaiapoi, Templeton 9, Russley 8%, Central Canterbury, McLeans Island 6, Waimairi Beach 5, North Canterbury 4, Harewood Red, Waitikiri 3Vi, Windsor, Harewood Blue 3. Two Canterbury teams have been chosen from the competition to play representative matches against North Canterbury and Central Canterbury teams. They are:— Canterbury Blue v.
