The Labour Department in Christchurch has. this week sent 4000 circulars to potential recruiters of the unemployed, urging them to take advantage of the various job-creation schemes. The district superintendent of the department, Mr W. T. Holland, said that another 4000 would be sent but later/, as a boost. The scheme was a local publicity effort as a sequel to lhe .'national advertising cgp-
