Awards judged at the Canterbury furniture fair are: Best individual piece, Cressy’s Scotch chest; Best individual upholstered piece, Barda Furniture; Best traditional dining setting, lan D. Taylor; Best traditional bed setting, R. A. and C. R. Davies; Best lounge setting, Barda Furniture; Best dining setting, Deorr Furniture; Best free-standing wall unit, Barda Furniture; Best bedroom setting, Airest Furniture. Two new awards presented this year are: Best fabric display, Ronald Griffiths; Best furniture stand, M. W. Richardson.
