Manslaughter verdict
PA New Plymouth A Hawera.man has been found guilty by a High Court jury of the manslaughter of his wife. After considering its verdict for eight hours, the jury found Ivan Joseph Jordan, aged 37, , a meatworker, guilty of manslaugMar but not guilty of murdewr Jordan, who had been
charged with the murder of his wife, Rosaleen Mary Jordan, at Ohangai, near Hawera, on Nobember 5 last year, was remanded to June 2 for sentence by Mr Justice Prichard. Earlier evidence had been that Jordan had shot his wife in the head in front of their daughter, aged 12, and his father-in-law.
