60 join new society
The newly formed Christchurch branch of the New Zealand Haemophilia Society has attracted interest from throughout the South Island. It now has about 60 people on its mailing list, including some in Dunedin, Central Otago, and the West
Coast. The branch treasurer, Mr R. F. Church, said the branch formed three months ago was the first in the South Island. Haemophilia was a rare disease and the branch provided much needed support for haemophiliacs and their families.
