Bullish trend slows markedly
The bullish trend of the last two trading sessions slowed appreciably on a busy New Zealand sharemarket yesterday, but rises still outnumbered falls more than six to one. Except tor N.z. Forest Products, which gained 4c, the big market leaders were absent from the rises. However many smaller market leaders rose sharply, including CBA Finance, BNZ Finance, and Marac. ■MSI Corporation and Repco New Zealand, two companies involved in the merger with Andrews and Beaven, firmed. Andrews and Beaven was steady at 130 c. Two private radio issues, r oveaux Radio and Manawatu Radio, also firmed. Interest again centred on the mining and oil sector, particularly Cue Energy and NZ Oil and Gas, both of which rose in heavy trading.
