Sheep tour

A tour of English Leicester studs in the Ashburton district will be held on Friday, May 20, for English Leicester breeders and other interested people.

The first stop on the tour will be at the irrigated property of Geo. Letham and Sons, Winchmore, which runs more than 2000 first cross English Leicester-Cor-riedales. Other visits will include the long-established flock of W. L. Clucas at Lismore, Mrs P. J. Tait, Lowcliffe, where a flock of English Leicester-Romneys will be on show, A. F. Brown, Elgin, and H. Bennett, Riverside. A social function will be held on the Friday evening and the Breed Committee will meet on Saturday.
