Five-day boat show
PA Auckland The 1983 New Zealand boat show will run for only five days, from Wednesday, September 28, to Sunday, October 2, in an effort to keep exhibitors’ costs down, the organisers have said. Previous exhibitions have been over two weeks. The organising committee
chairman, Mr John Weller, said exhibitors had pressed for some years for a shorter period. “In the past we have resisted doing so. The show is the biggest marine sales platform in New Zealand and draws patrons from all parts of the country,” he said.
