Harness drive
Competition in the first harness endurance drive held, in New Zealand, organised by the Canterbury Harness Horse and Pony Society, recently resulted:
Horse: Llewellyn Daffyd (owner Mrs A. Ellen, trainer and driver A. Ward), 3 hours 40min, 1; Salix Mabon (owner and driver K. Crisp), 3 hours 42min, 2; Lucy (owner and driver Mrs B. Kennedy) 3 hours 53min, 3.
Pony: Whiskey (owner and driver J. Clapham) 2 hours 37min, 1; Royal Flame (owner and driver L. Breading) 2 hours 44min, 2; Ming (owner and driver Mrs P. Fortesque) 2 hours 45min, 3.
