PA Dunedin The Rangiora jockey, Danny Frye, was suspended for one riding day at the Otago Racing Club’s meeting yesterday for careless riding in the Second Spitfire Handicap. The judicial committee found that Frye, riding Sharleta, crowded Boss Junior at the 900 m with resultant crowding to Perky Paula, Royal Caddon and Imperial Nip. Maurice Crawford, of Riverton, was fined $75 for careless riding at an adjourned inquiry into the Edie Handicap at the Beaumont Racing Club’s meeting on March 26.
