Easter specials
Two all-day Easter band specials will be held at the Hillsborough Tavern this week-end, featuring established and new Christchurch bands. The bands confirmed for Saturday are: Godz, Central Figures, Topless Waitresses, Louie and the Hotsticks, Monitor, The Fit, Clients, Testcase, Mannequins, Fondue Trout, Venetians, Private Lines, My Three Sons, Jewboys, Lunatics (from Timaru), and Toyotas. Besides the Troggs, Monday’s, line-up is: Louie and the Hotsticks, Central Figures', Ballon d’Essai, Fondue Trout, Clients, and Ritchie Venus and the Blue Beetles. The Saturday special runs from 1 p.m. to 11 pan. with a set of about 45 minutes for each band, and Monday’s performance starts from 1 p.m. and finishes at 10 p.m.
