Air N.Z. steward cleared
PA Auckland A jury in the District Court at Auckland Friday found a former Air New Zealand senior ground steward not guilty on a charge of theft. Kenneth Noel BinionCooper, aged 36, had pleaded not guilty to a charge that between January 1, 1982, and July 26, 1982, being an employee of Air New Zealand he stole miscellaneous foodstuffs, gift items,' and liquor, valued at $56.34, the property of the airline. The jury took 25 minutes to reach its verdict.
