Athletes of the Year
PA Wellington Commonwealth Games gold medallists and record holders, Anne Audain and Mike O’Rourke, have been declared joint winners of the Lion Athlete of the Year Trophy. The award, decided by the votes of members of the New Zealand Athletic Writers’ Association, was announced in Hamilton by the association chairman, Mr Andy Quick. - • .
