Attack on woman
PA Tauranga A woman, aged 61, was attacked and robbed by an intruder in her Tauranga home last night, the police said yesterday. Detective Sergeant F. B. McWillians said the intruder bound the woman’s hands and then allegedly sexually assaulted her. She suffered minor injuries. The woman told the man she might not be found if she was left bound and he untied her hands before taking her purse, which contained a small amount of money, and leaving.
