Viburnum trilobum is notable for its persistent, colourful berries and the good autumn tints of its leaves. When the berries achieve their ultimate colour they look very much like giant red currants, the conspicuous bunches hanging on to branches of this large deciduous shrub throughout winter. Relatively easy to grow and trouble-free, viburnum trilobum is also very hardy. But it does best if not exposed to all winds, nor subjected to very dry conditions.
