Rowing postponed
PA Levin Strong south-west winds wrecked, yesterday’s national rowing ' championships programme on Lake Horowhenua.
Regatta officials abandoned the day's racing midafternoon.
Sixteen repechages and 14 semi-finals were on the programme. They will now be run today, which was to have been a rest day. Rowing ended early on Wednesday because of the winds which have plagued the championships all week. Officials have accepted protests in the men’s championship coxed pair, championship lightweight double scull and novice eight.
