PA Wellington Gisborne look its first national inter-district surf lifesaving title at Paekakariki Beach, near Wellington. yesterday. Canterbury, after a slow start, regained the 21 Club Trophy for the women's championship. Both were engrossing struggles and the last event, the combined march past, decided the final plaeings.
