Cyclone moves south-east

PA Wellington Gales of up to 150 km h are whipping up high seas between Australia and New Caledonia as Cyclone Elinor moves slowly’ south-east-wards.

The cyclone's position is about 1900 km north-west of New Zealand and is weakening. says the Meteorological Service.
