Clash ends with a crash

Shop staff clear up the debris after two arguing young men fell through the plate glass window of Munn’s, The Man’s Shop, at the corner of Colombo Street and Gloucester Street yesterday afternoon. One of the men was taken to Burwood Hospital with a badly cut hand. The other, who fell backwards through the window, suffered less severe cuts. Constable Neil Russell said that the pair had apparently had a disagreement in Cathedra) Square, and had gone “round the corner” to settle it. “Unfortunately they did not go far enough,” said Constable Russell. The men, aged 20 and 21, would probably be charged with fighting in a public place, he said.
