R. Morris fined
PA Nelson R. G. Morris, the driver of Moorbank Supreme in the Brian Registrar Handicap at Nelson yestersday was fined $lOO for careless driving. It was found that with 850 m to . run. Moorbank Supreme struck the sulky of Thunder Rich, causing Moor-' bank Supreme to break and go back on Hondo Schell. Kawarau Chance. Titian Gold and Fred Knight. In assessing the penalty it was taken into account that Moorbank Supreme was having his first race day start and Morris explained the horse was racing fiercely before the incident.
