Fund boost for youth yacht
Fund-raising for the new youth-training vessel Spirit of New- Zealand has been helped by the Auckland public company, Ceramco. Ltd. The company has made a $15,000 cash grant, funded a speaking tour by the Ceramco New Zealand skipper, Peter Blake, and financed the production of 50,000 fund-raising calendars. The speaking tour raised $20,000 for the vessel, and a further $lOO,OOO could be raised through the sale of the calendars.
