NZPA Phoenix A man, aged 53, who told investigators he had married at least 82 women in 20 years, has gone on trial in Phoenix, ‘:rizona, charged with bigamy. Giovanni Vigilotto was ar-
rested in December, 1981, in Panama City, Florida. According to investigators, he boasted of having married 82 women in the last 20 years in 18 states and nine foreign countries. He also said that he had been admitted to mental hos-
pitals on eight different occasions. Besides bigamy, he is charged with defrauding Patricia Gardiner, a local estate agent whom he married in 1981, of $36,500 she received for the sale of her house.
