Wounded Niue boy improving
PA Auckland A Niue youth, aged 16. flown from Niue Island earlier in the week with serious gunshot wounds, is reported to be improving in Auckland Hospital. The youth, Miuleki Peaufa, was said to be in a stable condition last evening. A Royal New Zealand Air Force Orion flew him to Auckland after he suffered severe head injuries when hit by a shotgun blast in Niue’s main town of Alofi.
