Police name dead boy
PA Auckland The police yesterday named the boy who died when he was accidentally buried in sand at the Kaipara Heads on Wednesday evening. He was Dean Robert Maxwell,aged 15. of Waimauku. He was digging a cave in the sand when it collapsed. Others managed to dig him out but could not revive him. Jamie Anderson aged six, of Lower Hutt, is still in a critical condition in Welling--2 ton Hospital’s intensive-care t unit after a sandpit tunnel I collapsed on him at WaikaI nqe last Sunday.
