Low-income families
A report on a survey of low-income families printed in “The Press” yesterday was incorrect in saying that the Christchurch Household Budget and Advisory Service allowed 30 per cent of incomes to be spent on a “no
luxury” diet. The report should have said that 30 per cent of the families surveyed were spending less on food than a no-luxury diet calculated by the budget service.
