Bus service

Sir,—l would like to express my thanks to the Christchurch Transport Board for the hew rural bus service which runs from Burwood to Southbridge. Living in the country and with limited access to the family car, I can have an enjoyable time shopping at Hornby. The bus timetable has meant a “hassle-free" outing with a toddler and young baby. The long seats at the front of the bus, wide isles and courteous drivers have certainly helped to relax a busy mother — Yours, etc.. MRS M. ROCHE. Prebbleton. December 15, 1982.
