The pupils of Room 12 at Kirkwood Intermediate School, who have submitted consistently good entries in “The Press" monthly touragram contest, received a double surprise on Friday: an encyclopaedia for (heir efforts and a chance to meet "Gladiator." the person responsible for compiling the touragrams. Each month during the year the children processed the touragrams in “The Press" travel pages as a class project under the direction of their teacher. Mrs Julie McCaw. “Gladiator," who remains anonymous, congratulated Mrs McCaw and her pupils. The photograph shows Katie Brown receiving the encyclopaedia from Mr Les Bloxham. travel editor of "The Press" who accompanied “Gladiator" to meet the class.
