j NZPA Adelaide The former rivals for the Australian captaincy, Greg Chappell and Kim Hughes, struck up a magnificent century partnership on the opening day of the third test in Adelaide yesterday to place Australia in a commanding position against England. Chappell scored his first test century in Adelaide with some very aggressive stroke making which yielded 17 fours in 213 minutes.
