No drive-in movies

Parliamentary reporter The Government has rejected a suggestion that drive-in movies be introduced. The Prime Minister. Mr Muldoon, said at his postcaucus press conference yesterday that the caucus had decided that drive-in movies were “no go." A spokesman for the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr Highet, said that the issue had been raised several times in recent years. The Film Trade Board had recommended that drive-in movies should not be introduced and the caucus had supported that recommendation.
