PA Wellington “Practical difficulties” could work against combining the Drugs Advisory Committee and the Alcoholic Liquor Advisory Council into a single addictions board, said the Minister of Health, Mr Malcolm, yesterday. Answering a question in Parliament, for Mr Malcolm, the Minister of Justice Mr McLay, said the Drugs Advisory Committee was an advisory board which gave out nothing in the way of funds, whereas the Liquor Advisory Council, expended levies from manufacturers and importers of drink.
