Altered dates
PA Wellington. The Racing Conference has fixed December 22 as the date for the Wairio Jockey Club’s meeting originally scheduled for April 30, 1983. In other date changes the conference said the Southland Racing Club’s meeting abandoned on October 16 will be held on February 14 (Southland’s abandoned November 22 meeting will be raced next Monday), Marton Jockey Club will race March 4 in lieu of September 21. 1982 and the Avondale Jockey Club will race March 23 in lieu of the meeting scheduled for June 17, 1983. The Trotting Conference said the Auckland Trotting Club will race on the night of December 17 in lieu of the night of December 18.
