Accountants elect chairman
A Christchurch accountant, Mr J. R. Thomson, has been elected chairman of the Canterbury and Westland branch of the Society of Accountants for the next year. Mr Thomson is a partner in the accounting firm, Lawrence, Anderson and Buddle. Committee members elected,were—M. R. Compton (vice-president), G. E. Purchas, P. G. Sargison, M. G. Sepie, P. H. Willis, R. E. Wilton, and D. J. Broughton.
Ex-officio members are.R. A. Anderson, J. M. Ott, J. K, Torrance, C. R. Hasseldine, S. M. Lojkine, D. A. Tiso, K. N. Neate, and A. G. , Lewis.
