tial” is the name of the film that tells a weird story about an alien creature left behind on Earth after the U.F.O. in which it landed has left our planet. Afraid and totally alone — some 3 million light years
from home — he is befriended by children with whom a unique, loving and compassionate friendship is formed. Termed a science-fiction fantasy, the movie made by the famous Hollywood pro-
ducer, Steven Spielberg, is expected to be the biggest box-office hit of the year — if not the decade. The little space creature, E.T., is seen above making friends with a little boy on Earth (Henry Thomas).
