Ikista, the Christchurch band, have introduced a saxophonist and a new guitarist into their line-up. Danny Wilson brings his saxophone from Louie and the Hotsticks, and the new guitarist is Mark Kahi, who has returned from Australia.
Ikista will be using tbeir time at Doddles nightclub to settle in the new members. The band secured the support spots for Joe Cocker’s South Island shows, and the Icehouse concert at the Christchurch Town Hall this evening and tomorrow even-
mg. The proposed Heat Rave concert at Jellie Park next month tentatively features Ikista on the bill, with Brazier’s Legionnaires. Dave Blackwell, one of the band’s guitarists, said that Ikista had been approached
