Brigade to celebrate

The Canterbury battalion of the Boys Brigade will celebrate Founder’s Day on November 7, with a service in Christchurch Cathedral.

The Governor-General, Sir David Beattie, and Lady Beattie will attend the service. As the New Zealand patron of the movement, Sir David has been invited to read the lesson. The battalion will march from Latimer Square to the Cathedral and will parade its colours in the Square before entering the Cathedral.
