Turner’s century boosts Sydenham
A commanding IG7 runs from the Sydenham captain, Nicki Turner, helped put ner side in a commanding position against Lancaster Park in an opening second round women's senior cricket match at Sydenham Park on Saturday. Turner’s century steered Sydenham to the comfortable tally of 191/6, while at stumps, Lancaster Park were struggling in reply at 72/5. In the other senior match, Riccarton and St Albans were evenly poised with St Albans at 52/2 in reply to Ricearton's 123. Delwyn Costello was the topscorer for Riccarton with 36 runs.
