Wool Board resignation

PA Wellington The Minister of Agriculture, Mr Maclntyre, said that he had accepted Mr G. M. Evans’s resignation from the Wool Board. Mr Evans has been a woolgrowers’ representative on the board since 1978.

No reason has been given for the resignation of Mr Evans. Earlier this month Mr Evans was fined $2250 after being convicted in the High Court at Gisborne on three charges under the Secret Commissions Act.
