Fashion museum
The. French Minister of Culture, Mr Jack Lang, has announced the creation of a new fashion museQm at a reception for the fashion industry. “This Government is giving priority to research, industry and culture," said Mr Lang. "Let us create, let us invent.” He emphasised that fashion should mean "no to uniformity, yes to creativity and life." Work would begin in January on the new fashion centre and museum in the Marsan Pavilion of the Louvre. The museum should be open by the end of the year. — Paris.
