Cat holds jumbo down

NZPA-Reuter Sydney The cat that grounded a Qantas jumbo jet in Sydney for three days was found and taken off the plane last evening. Two technicians succeeded in coaxing the cat to come to them, a Qantas spokesman said.. The fluffy white cat seemed quite happy and allowed ittself to be picked up and cuddled after the technicians offered it fish, the spokesman said. Earlier yesterday. Air New Zealand told Qantas its staff had lost a cat from the cargo bay at Mascot. Qantas last evening was checking to see if the cat in the jumbo is the one Air New Zealand lost, but in the meantime the white cat was held in quarantine. The cat was first spotted by airline crew in the aircraft’s galley area during a flight from Fiji to Sydney.
