Fletcher falls 6c
Fletcher Challenge led the New Zealand sharemarket down as the shares fell 6c. to 170 c. on the realistic forecast of next year’s profit in the annual report which was released on Friday. Hawkes Bay Farmers, which also released its profit announcement showing a virtually steady profit, chalked up the biggest drop —20 c to 215 c. BNZ Finance. Montana. NZIG. Sanford and Yates lost 5c each. Printpack put on another 10c to sell at 195 c.
